Run your next machine step, which will be the tacking stitch
for your back fabric panel. There will be an opening left at
the bottom for turning your project inside out.
Now that your design has finished running, remove it from
the hoop. Use a ruler and rotary cutter to trim away any
excess material. To reduce any bulk left over from your fabric,
we recommend trimming down to 1⁄4”.
Once trimmed, your design should look something like this.
Note: You can also clip each of the corners off at a 45°
angle to prevent excess bulk in the corners once turned.
Once you have finished tacking your lining, it is time to attach
the back panel. Place your back panel fabric face down on
top of your hoop, ensuring you have enough fabric for a 1⁄2”
seam allowance. Be sure to cover the bag completely.
