To make sure you have pinned correctly, fold the stocking in half
so the right sides are together. If the stocking is uneven, or is not
sitting well, adjust the pins as necessary.
NOTE: If you are using a faux sheepskin fabric, take your time
while making sure the cuff is straight.

Once you have attached the faux sheepskin, fold it over to the
right sides of the stocking. Use a piece of scrap fabric to create a
loop. Our loop is 1/2” wide and 6” long. Fold the loop in half and
place the ends outside the outer edge of the stocking.
Once satisfied, sew 1/2” from the top of the stocking fabric. Go
very slowly on the machine. The faux sheepskin fabric will try to
shift and get out from underneath the presser foot.
Before folding the stocking right sides together, make sure
the excess faux sheepskin is tucked away so that you don’t
accidentally stitch on top of it and create an extra seam.
