COMBINATION SQUARE | step-by-step
You will now join the various sections of the Combination
Square into your quilt top. Begin by sewing together each
horizontal row of your quilt. To do this, take the top two
sections, pin them right sides together, and take them to
your sewing machine. Sew the blocks together, stitching
just inside of the squaring stitch.

Open up the joined sections. You will need to butterfly
press your seams open with a steam iron.
Repeat step B for the bottom set of blocks, and press open
the seams once joined. If your quilt top has more rows
than pictured here, continue to sew all rows together.

You will now join the rows together to create the quilt top.
Fold the bottom half of your quilt up to rest on the top,
design sides together. Repeat steps I and J to join the
two rows. If your quilt has more rows than pictured here,
continue to attach each row together.
Your Combination Square is now finished!
