How it works
Crazy quilts are created without a base fabric,
but rather pieces of appliqués placed perfectly
to fit together like a puzzle. We’ve taken the
guess work out by creating these placements
for you!
To make navigating the appliqués easier,
each section of the blocks will be numbered
on the design pages, like the block above.
The numbers will indicate the order in which
the appliqués will be placed. This will make
planning your color palettes and thread
choices for the embroidered designs easier
and more consistent.
Tip:
Instead of matching the motif stitches to the fabrics
below, select bright colors that work with the other
fabrics and interchange where the colors stitch.
