GIVES
THANKS
creative comfort
Hundreds of wonderful class attendees have been
donating their time and hard work during our recent
curriculum addition, Anita’s University 201: I Can Quilt.
Attendees at these events came to learn different quilting
techniques, brush up on their embroidery skills, and make
new friends. Attendees were asked to donate their blocks
from the event to be sent back to AGD where we would
piece them into quilts for a good cause. Some of you may
have become All Access members as well, which is why
we wanted to thank you and give you an update on all of
the blocks we received.
SAFE
ALLIANCE
We can be there for our neighbors;
The mission of Safe Alliance is to create resources,
shelter, and healing for those impacted by domestic
violence and sexual assault. They have helped
thousands of families over the years, with everything
from legal counsel to a warm, safe place to sleep.
We wanted to give back and join in helping the
cause. Residents of the shelter will receive your wellwishes

Our seamstresses spent many hours over the weeks
taking the blocks that were mailed home and making
them into quilts. Each quilt was personally designed by
one of our amazing seamstresses, and pieced together
to make a cohesive pattern.
Once the quilts were complete, we were able to donate
them to Safe Alliance here in Charlotte, NC, where they
could be given to those who need them most. Thank you
for making this all possible!
