Sew the binding to the top edge, and leave about 1/4” seam
allowance.
Use the same method as the hanging strap, and fold the edge
of the binding towards the center crease, then fold once more to
create a binding with a clean seam. Use pins to hold it in place.
Next, fold the binding against the seam, and then turn the pod
wrong side out again.
Start at the strap and stitch 1/4” from the edge, all the way around
the pod opening.

Once stitched, the storage pod will look
something like this. It has a slight bell shape,
and should stand up on its own.
