After sewing, use an iron to butterfly the seam open. Repeat
steps 8-11 to complete the bag lining.

Once the strap has been creased to 1/2” wide, sew along the
open edge, leaving a scant 1/8” seam allowance. Set the strap
aside for later.

Take the pod lining and attach it to the other end. Like the pod’s
outside fabric, it should be inside out so that the pod base is
facing the lining. Pin them together.
To create the hanging loop, use a 2 1/2” x 6” piece of scrap lining
fabric and fold it in half. Crease the fold with an iron, then fold the long
edge in, toward the center crease, along the dotted lines shown. Iron
the folds to hold the crease. The strap should be 1/2” wide.
Now it’s time to stitch the base of the pod to the body of the pod.
Pin the base and the body together along the seams. fabrics
should be facing eachother, while the lining of the base should be
face down. Sew along the edge leaving a 1/4” seam allowance.
Carefully sew along the edge, with a 1/4” seam allowance. Be
careful not to stitch the outside fabric on accident.
