RIGHT BORDERS
Start by attaching the top border first. Fold the top border
row face down over the Combination Square, lining up the
blocks’ tacking stitches, and pin in place. Transfer to your
sewing machine and straight stitch the block together,
sewing just inside of the squaring stitch.

Continue to repeat steps C and D for the left and right
rows of borders.
NOTE: The corner blocks in your border will be on point
diagonally to create a cohesive look to the finished
quilt. Be sure to lay them out correctly before joining
the border blocks together!
Now, lay out your joined Combination Square with the top
and bottom borders.

Open up the joined blocks and flip them to the back. Use
the steam setting of your iron to butterfly press open the
back seams.
