These combination squares will provide examples for laying
out your quilt using the different shapes and sizes, and will
help to make planning your quilt a breeze. We have provided
several layouts that can be combined to create the perfect
Christmas quilt of your dreams!
Each layout is customizable for whatever block designs or
techniques you want to incorporate. With 46 different block
and border designs to choose from in a range of sizes, you
will be able to create that perfectly cozy Christmas quilt
exactly how you’d like it!

Note that every combination square has color coded sections. Below you will see a color key that
indicates the order in which to sew the different sections of your combination square together.
For example, the combination square above has three blocks in the blue section, one 8” x 8”, one
4”x8”, and one 4” x 12” block. We recommend you stitch the blue section together first, followed
by the red section. Once you have stitched these combinations out, continue to stitch together the
blocks within the green, gray, and yellow sections. You can then piece the five completed sections
together, continuing to your desired finished quilt size and layout.
