Monopoly Night
Charity Works’ twenty-first annual Monopoly Night, held at the Belleair Country Club, was a fun-filled evening of dining,
bidding and competitive gaming presented by Decker Ross Interiors Inc. and Prescription Weight Loss Clinic to benefit Charity
Works. Charity Works’ CEO Chris Renfrow and his wife, Jeanie Renfrow, thanked former television anchor Sarina Fazan for serving
as master of ceremonies, Deputy Daniel DiFrancesco of the Pinellas County Sheriff’s office for being jailer at the chocolates and
champagne-serving “jail,” Ward Johansen for his help as head banker, and Greg Benjamin and Aaron Fodiman for being the live
auctioneers. Charity Works, headquartered in Clearwater and known for “helping those who help others,” has been providing
purchasing advisory services that benefit charitable and educational nonprofit organizations since 1996.

Order of Salvador
The Order of Salvador was founded during 1982, the first year of the Salvador Dalí Museum in St. Petersburg, as a way to
honor supportive patrons. It was created by Eleanor Morse, who with her husband Reynolds, had donated their Dalí artworks
to the museum built to house them, and by Roger Sherman, who was a history and heraldry scholar. They modeled it on the
chivalrous societies and knightly orders of Europe, which were admired by Salvador Dalí. The early, very serious ceremonies of
being tapped to become a member, a Knight or a Dame, and the wearing of the medallions and ribbons to designate your status,
have naturally grown in size each year, as more members are added. This year’s Ceremony of Investiture and Elevation, held in
the museum’s Avant-garden, invested 18 new and elevated 11 current members, who were joined by other members and officers
for a pre-ceremony cava reception and a finale of desserts.
