Home Sweet Home Gingerbread Houses
The Home Sweet Home Gingerbread House Decorating Party, the Salvation Army of Clearwater and Upper Pinellas County’s
second annual sold-out gingerbread house fun decorating benefit, was held under a tent on the grounds of the historic Belleview
Inn in Belleair. The successful event will benefit and hopefully raise awareness of The Salvation Army’s homeless prevention
programs, Pathway of Hope to break the generational cycle of crisis and poverty, and Hope Crest to shelter and help single mothers
and their children.
Teresa Hibbard, who orchestrated the
Salvation Army’s benefit, and Amy Prososki
Rosa, a founding partner of table sponsor
Hibbard Wealth Management Group, were
thrilled with the benefit’s success.
Diedre Livingston and Kristi Pettit co-chaired
the morning’s Home Sweet Home fundraiser,
which featured lunch from Frank Chavez’s
Baystar Restaurant Group for guests.
Kara Luker, Pamela Rossi and Mary
Critchfield, originator of our area’s
gingerbread decorating benefits, worked
hard as judges to select the day’s prizewinning,
best decorated gingerbread houses.

The Salvation Army of Clearwater and Upper Pinellas County’s inaugural Jingle and Mingle evening patron’s party with
chairs Amy and Gary Connors and honorary chairs Margaret Word Burnside and Aaron Fodiman, which took place inside the
meticulously restored Belleview Inn, was both friendly and gracious. Guests chatted while admiring a collection of the morning’s
decorated gingerbread houses and artist Christopher Still’s original oil paintings depicting life during the hotel’s early years that
adorn the walls, and sampling hors d’oeuvres provided by Clear Sky restaurants.
Majors Ted and Pam Morris, who lead
the Salvation Army of Clearwater and
Upper Pinellas, welcomed guests to the
Jingle and Mingle, Home Sweet Home’s
evening patron party.
Barry Burton, the Pinellas County
Administrator, and his wife Catherine, a
real estate agent, enjoyed the opportunity
to mingle with old and new friends.
Amy and Gary Connors, who co-chaired
the Jingle and Mingle evening party in
the Belleview Inn, made sure it was a
fun time for the patrons who attended it.
