Impact Awards
The Tampa Bay Businesses for Culture and the Arts, an organization created in 1989 to help unite the Tampa Bay region’s arts and
business communities through strategic partnerships, held its 32nd annual Impact Awards gala reception, dinner and presentation
program at Armature Works in Tampa. The evening was chaired by the nonprofit group’s board chair and president Stephen Gay
and board vice president Adam Unger with the help of new executive director Celeste Davis and emceed by Dalia Colón of PBS
station WEDU’s Arts Plus. It benefited the annual TBBCA Charlie Hounchell Art Stars Scholarships and programs, which have
been providing financial tuition assistance and additional support to talented Tampa Bay area high school students since 2008.

Bob Devin Jones, a writer, actor, director
and artistic director of The Studio@620 in
St. Petersburg, received the Lifetime Artistic
Achievement Impact Award.
Susana Weymouth, former TBBCA executive
director, and her husband Yann Weymouth,
an internationally renowned architect and
2014 Lifetime Achievement Impact awardee
who lives in St. Pete Beach, enjoyed the
awards presentations.
Christopher Still, an award-winning fine artist
in Tarpon Springs and the Artist in Residence
for the Florida Legislature, was congratulated
by his wife Kelly Still on receiving the Artistic
Achievement Impact Award.
Cynthia Zinober and her attorney husband
Peter Zinober of Tampa, a TBBCA board
member and a 2017 awardee, were the 2021
benefit’s honorary co-chairs, along with
Margaret Word Burnside and her husband
Aaron Fodiman, a 2003 awardee.
