Ruth Eckerd Hall’s Grammy Project
The sixth annual Grammy Museum’s Music Revolution Project’s showcase concert at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater was a
sterling performance of young talent. Fifteen local students from the hall’s Marcia P. Hoffman School of the Arts were selected to
participate in this program that teaches students how to compose music, write lyrics, create orchestrations and perform the material
they have produced. Ruth Eckerd Hall is the only performing arts center to be affiliated with this project of the Grammy Museum.
Pinellas County Commissioner Karen Seel
and her husband Ron were amazed at the
performances of the Grammy Project’s
talented teenage students.

recognition at this fundraiser for actively “sowing the seeds of equality, peace and social, economic and environmental justice in
our community.”
Andrea Castaneda, the community relations
manager at PARC, and PARC’s executive
director Karen Higgins were pleased that
PARC’s disability awareness program was
highlighted at the WMNF event.
WMNF board members Nancy Johnson and
Bob Ingham were instrumental in organizing
