Tony Nicholson and his wife Sonja celebrated his 80th birthday with a party
for more than 150 friends at their home in Winter Park, where he was presented
with proclamations from the mayors of both Orlando and Winter Park, declaring his
birthday “Tony Nicholson Day” in honor of his many contributions to both cities,
the University of Central Florida and Florida Hospitals as well as his involvement in
other philanthropic causes and sports teams.
