DUNEDIN HISTORY MUSEUM
A Railroad Station on Main Street

Statues at the museum’s new entrance portray a lady and her daughter
who are being asked to hurry by the conductor, if they want to make the train.
In 1924, the Atlantic Coast Line built a railroad station on Main Street
in downtown Dunedin. It served several railroad lines over the years,
and once the railroad tracks were converted to the Pinellas Trail,
the station became home to the Dunedin Historical Society.
