Judy Genshaft, president of the University
of South Florida, is proud that her persistent
effort has won the school recognition for being
one of Florida’s preeminent universities. The
Board of Governors of Florida’s 12 universities
conferred this honor on USF in recognition of
its accomplishments, such as 70 percent of
its students graduating in six years, entering
freshmen having at least a 4.0 grade point
average, national ranking achievements,
patents, research dollars and academic
appointments. A gift of $6.15 million comes
with this recognition, so USF’s success benefits
the entire Tampa Bay area.

a special operating suite for Brekkie
therapy, which is used to treat prostate ,
cervical, breast and sarcoma cancers.

has donated $110,000 to Moffitt from
Richard’s Father’s Day Family Walk
and Jog that began and ended at
their Ulele Restaurant on the Tampa
Riverwalk.
