Now, fold the fabric down over the folding stitch line so that
the right side of the fabric is now facing you. Give the top
of the folding stitch a good finger crease, then secure both
sides with tape.

Run the last step in the design, which is the decorative
tacking stitch along the channel.
Once finished, remove the design from the hoop and lay it
flat with the back side of the hoop, facing up. Use a pair of
scissors to trim away the excess stabilizer and base fabric,
leaving at least a 1⁄2” seam allowance around the bag’s
placement stitch (grey).
Since the minky material will create bulk, we will remove any
excess fabric that is more than 1⁄2” below the folding line.
