Stitching directly on the tacking line, continue to align and join
blocks together. It can be helpful to open the blocks up when
pinned to check the point alignments or using the basting stitch
for accuracy.
Continue to join the rows together in the same way you did the
blocks until your mini quilt top is joined together.
With your mini quilt top facing right side up, place and pin both
pieces of back fabric on to the mini quilt top.
Repeat steps B through E to join the remaining blocks until you
have stitched together 6 rows.
To create the envelop style back for your pillow case, cut two
pieces of back fabric, each measuring 12” x 18”. You will then fold
the back fabrics in half.
Using a clear or matching thread, secure the back fabric to the
quilt top by sewing along the tacking stitch line, careful to remove
the pins as you go.
