Next, take two additional pieces of batting and place them on top of the tacked batting, then run the next tacking stitch. This
tacking stitch will create the trapunto effect.
TIP: We have used white batting, with a natural color batting to make it easier to see which is regular batting and which is
trapunto batting.

Trapunto
The next step is to take embroidery scissors and trim the
batting around the tacking stitch.
Once you have trimmed away the excess batting, place the
base fabric on top of the batting. Make sure there is at least
1/2” seam allowance on all 4 sides.
