CREATING THE PIECES
STEP A
To start, hoop two pieces of tear away stabilizer to fit
hoop. Then run the first machine step, which will be
the placement stitch for the first piece of appliqué.
We are using two pieces of tear
away to give these free-standing
designs extra stability as they stitch.
STEP B
Place the appliqué fabric face up covering the
entirety of the placement stitches.
STEP C
Run the next machine step, which will be the tacking
stitch for the appliqué.
