To begin, hoop a piece of No Show mesh stabilizer and run
the first step in the design, which will be a squaring stitch for
the batting.
Take piece of batting and place it over the squaring stitches,
being sure to cover them completely.

Next, run the tacking stitch for the batting to secure it in place. Using a pair of scissors, trim away the excess batting from the
tacking stitches.

Your batting should look something like this once trimmed. Now, place a piece of base fabric over the batting, being
sure to leave a 1⁄2” extending outside of the batting for your
seam allowance.
