HAS A SECRET
We decided to play around with some of these
stitches, trying a variety of patterns or designs.
For our material, we opted to keep it simple
(and fun!) by using premade tea towels and
cocktail napkins, which removes the extra steps
of having to make some yourself. Whether you
choose to go all D.I.Y. and make your own, or
you just want to add some pops of color to old
linens you already own, your machine is sure
to brighten up these plain surfaces with swirling
stitches. For the best results, we recommend
practicing on scrap fabric that has a similar
consistency or material. This way, you will get
to see the desired stitches actually sewn out,
because once these decorative stitches are
sewn on, they can be quite difficult to remove
(trust us, we’ve tried!). Sometimes, simple
stitches have the best finished look, and even
more so when the pattern looks hand-stitched!
Regardless of the stitches you choose, any fun
color and finishing trim can take your linens from
bland to beautiful in minutes!
