The next step is the placement stitch for the second
appliqué. This appliqué will be folded fabric.
The next machine step is the folding stitch.
Run the tacking stitch, then trim away the excess fabric,
again without trimming away the seam allowance.
Take the folded fabric appliqué and place it face down
on top of the placement stitch, overlapping it by ¼”.
Fold the appliqué taut against the folding stitch.
Repeat steps G through K for the remaining folded
fabric appliqué steps. Then, repeat steps D through F
for the remaining standard appliqué steps.
