Once all the blocks are sewn together, it should look
something like this.

Go around the top and pin the backing to the carrier’s
quilt top.

Then, trim away the excess fabric so that the backing fabric
matches the seam allowance of the quilt blocks.
Next, lay down your backing fabric, right side down, then lay
sewn blocks on top, right side up.
Next, stitch in th ditch to secure the backing to the quilt top.
Next we will be using a binding that is 2 ½” wide and 42”
long. Place the binding along the edge right side down, folding
the starting edge back to make a triangle. Make sure the raw
edge of the binding is aligned with the raw edge of the blocks.
