COLORING WITH INKTENSE PENCILS
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
On a scrap piece of fabric, test each water soluble ink pencil. Leave half of the colored rectangle dry and activate the other
half with a paint brush dipped in textile medium. Let it dry, then decide which colors you want to use.
NOTE: Do not add water to the textile medium.

Place a piece of foam core, or other similar material to
protect the surface below the quilt block during the
coloring process.
Use the water soluble ink pencils to color in the
desired areas.
HINT: The darker you make each section, the more
intense that section will be in the end.
