Step-by-Step
Instructions
A B
Begin by loading the background block design (FILE NAME). Then
select the Add button, which will allow you to add the next file.
C D
Then select Set in order to set the second part of the design.
E F
Follow the numbered steps for the block background, and then
the numbered steps for your chosen design. See the end of this
tutorial for specifics.
Select the file you want to add to the design. In this example, we
have chosen one of the Folk Birds.
Select Embroidery to finalize your edits. Make sure you have
loaded the files in the correct order - you should see the plain
background first, and then the bird or flower design next. Then
hoop a piece of No-Show Mesh stabilizer, and begin stitching!
Once finished stitching, use a rotary cutter and ruler to trim away
any excess fabric and stabilizer. Remember to leave 1/4” seam
allowance on all sides. Your quilt block is now completed!
