PREPARING
YOUR
T-SHIRTS
LAUNDER. Make sure all
the shirts are washed and
dried so you can begin with
clean, uniform fabrics.
TWO
PICK A DIRECTION.
Do you want the shirt to
be a vertical or horizontal
block? Measure the design
before cutting to determine
which will fit your desired
layout.
THREE
CUT THE FRONT. Use
sharp scissors to cut under
each arm, and above the
bottom hem; as shown in
picture 4. Excess fabric can
be trimmed later.
FOUR
BACK THE BLOCK.
Add a layer of fusible
interfacing to the back of
each block. For thinner
t-shirts or very stretchy
fabrics, we suggest two
layers of fusible interfacing
to add strength to the fabric.
