If you open up the leather, you should now have two holes in it, as
shown above.
Using your sewing machine, run a topstitch down the joined
edges, stitching at a 1⁄4” seam allowance. Run over the stitch at
least two times to ensure the stitch is secure, back stitching at the
start and stop.

Now, gather your snap button kit pieces and a hammer—or, if you
have one on hand, a leatherwork mallet.
Following the directions in your kit, apply the front flap snap first.

Repeat the same process for the bottom snap piece.
Your Perfect Pouch with a snap closure is now complete!
