To create the pleats, begin by placing pins along the short edge
of the towel. For an inverted box pleat, you will have a 2” box and
1” spacing as shown.

Once you have created your pleats, it should look something like
this. Stitch the pleats in place 1⁄2” from the raw edge.
Begin folding the pleats and using the pins to hold the pleats in
place, accordion style.
Pin the raw edge of the towel with the raw edge of the design
panel, wrong sides together.

Begin sewing the edge of the towel with the edge of the design
panel, leaving a 1⁄2” seam allowance. Repeat steps I through O for
the opposite end of the Kitchen Boa.
Now it’s time to prepare the bias tape, which will cover the raw
French seams. Pin the bias tape to the raw edges.
