Flip the project and press the seam so that it lies flat in one
direction. On the opposite side, the raw edges will be pressed to
one side.
Use a ruler to press the first edge lengthwise flat toward the
back of the project. The seam should be 1⁄4” wide.

Fold the 1⁄4” seam one more time and use pins to hold the seam
in place.
Sew 1⁄4” from the edge removing the pins as you go. This will
hold the seam in place. Repeat steps F through H for the
other side.
Now it’s time to create the pleated towel. Fold a 1⁄4” seam along
the long edge of the towel.

Fold the edge once more, for a 1⁄4” seam, and press using an
iron. Repeat this step for the opposite side, then sew 1⁄4” from the
edge for clean seams.
