Choosing coordinating fabrics will make the designs pop!

CHOOSING FABRICS
These cute cases are created in two simple hoopings, and
since they are free standing when finished, you'll be able
to see both sides of the entire design. To create a clean,
finished look for your new case, we recommend choosing
fabrics that will complement the design you choose to
stitch. For our cases, we opted for a combination of small
prints on our cottons, with watercolor toned florals to
complement the pairings. Since the cases will have an
inside and an outside to the finished design, you can
create a truly one-of-a-kind look by selecting two fabrics
that work well together for the inside and outside.
If coordinating fabric scraps aren't in your current stash
of fabrics, a fat quarter bundle can work well in helping
build a color palette for the embroidery in the designs.
Looking to prevent a lot of fabric waste? A charm pack is
conveniently sized at 5" and will fit perfectly for placing as
base fabrics in any of these cases! Whichever combination
of fabrics you choose to use, just remember to wind a
bobbin for your finishing stitches to create the clean finish
on all sides.
