CHOOSING COLORS
FOR YOUR KITCHEN BOA
When you choose fabrics for your boa, it’s a good idea to
think of a color scheme you want to incorporate. Since the
item is going to be used in the kitchen and serves to wipe off
hands and messes, a fun, patterned fabric could be a great
accent to help hide any splatters or stains!

NOTIONS
You will need the common tool arsenal to include
appliqué scissors, a ruler, and a rotary cutter.
THREADS
With a pair of embroidery designs for each end of
your boa, try selecting some fun, complimenting
colors that will pop against your base cotton. We used
Floriani threads for this project.
FABRICS
We received a wonderful white waffle knit cotton
courtesy of Shannon Fabrics that we utilized for the
towel ends of the project to help keep your hands dry.
