Creating the blocks

Begin by hooping a piece of No Show Mesh stabilizer to fit your
hoop. Then run the first machine step, which will be the squaring
stitch for the batting.
Place the batting over the squaring stitches, making sure to cover
them in their entirety.

Run the next machine step, which will be the tacking stitch for
the batting.

Your trimmed batting should look like this.
Use scissors to trim away any excess batting on all sides of the
block. Trim as close as possible to the tacking stitches.
Place the base fabric, face up, on top of the batting. Make sure to
leave 1⁄2” seam allowance on all sides of the block.
