STASH DASH. The summer months are a great time to show off the
tan you’ve been developing during your spring picnics. Tackle that stash of
scrap fabric you’ve been hiding from your winter projects by turning them
into something a little different, like a necklace!
This statement piece necklace style works best with a low, or understated
neckline. The stacked cording necklace can easily look bulky or distract
from the rest of your outfit, so it’s important to find a balance. We suggest
using odd-numbers of cording when stacking. For example, try stacking 3 or
5 cords instead of 2 or 4, as it creates more visual interest. Fun fact, there is
distinct psychology behind odd numbers. Research shows that when things
like paintings are arranged in an odd number, it creates a more thought
provoking response from the onlooker!
