Resume Tips
Resume content, styles and formats are as varied as the people they represent.
However, these three principles always apply.
• Resumes that get results show results.
• People do not read resumes. They quickly scan resumes.
• Don’t write sentences. Use keywords, phrases, facts.
In General
• Resumes are usually one to two pages using 12-point type.
•
• Never put anything on your resume that is not completely true.
• Put white space between resume sections and in margins.
• Use correct spelling and punctuation. Avoid “I” or “we”.
• Ask others to review your resume re-read before you send.
