To begin, lay out your quilt blocks in the desired arrangement for
your final quilt.
Place the first and second blocks design sides together, lining
up the squaring stitches for the two blocks. You can use pins to
secure in place (circled).
We will begin piecing the quilt top from either the top or bottom
row, focusing on those blocks first. Line up the two scallop
corners with the sashing block in between.
Stitch slightly inside the squaring stitch using a straight stitch and
your walking foot, removing the pins as you sew.
Once stitched, open the two pieces and make sure the designs
line up properly, then press the seams open using a steam iron.
Once you have joined the blocks in the first row, your curved
edge should look something like this.
