Using the gap remaining in the seam, carefully turn your
project right side out.

Once turned, carefully push out all the corners, using a
steam iron to make them nice and crisp.
To close the remaining gap, crease the raw edges so
that they create a 1⁄2" seam allowance to match the rest
of the project.

Use a pin to secure the seam in place. Using a hand needle and thread, sew the gap closed.
TIP: You can also use your sewing machine if you don't
mind a visible top stitch.
Once trimmed, the project will look something like this.
