Continue running the remaining machine steps for any
appliqué and embroidery in your design. When the design is
finished, it should look similar to this.

Remove the design from the hoop. Using a rotary cutter and
ruler, trim the block to a 1” seam allowance on all sides. After
attaching the quilt blocks together later on, the excess bulk
can be trimmed down to a 1⁄2” seam allowance!
