FABRIC
For this project, we used a lightly patterned
white cotton for our base, allowing the brightly
colored organza to bring the colors of stained
glass to life. Adding a layer of clear vinyl
overtop will help create the illusion of glass!
NOTIONS
Be sure to keep a sharp pair of
curved tip embroidery scissors handy,
as well as a ruler and rotary cutter for
trimming up the finished quilt blocks.
THREADS
We chose a dark gray thread for the
satin stitch step in order to give
our stained glass pieces
the appearance of being
“soldered” together. 8 gauge vinyl!
