STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS

Run the design until you reach the first placement stitch for
a standard appliqué. NOTE: Depending on the design, the
standard appliqué may come first, or some embroidery
may stitch out before the placement stitch. Be sure to
follow your design's numbered machine steps!
To begin, load the appliqué design to your machine, then
hoop a piece of Tear-Away stabilizer and the base fabric of
your choice. NOTE: For our example, we are stitching on
a white felt with Tear-Away, but depending on your final
project, you can use an alternative stabilizer instead!

The next machine step is the tacking stitch, which will secure
the standard appliqué in place.
Take the applique fabric and place it right side facing up
over the placement stitches. Make sure the fabric covers the
placement stitch entirely.
