Once all the machine steps have been completed, the
design is ready to be removed from the hoop.
Now, use a pair of curved tip scissors to trim away the excess
fabric up to the tacking stitch. Repeat steps B - E to complete
any remaining standard appliqué steps. Be sure to follow
your specific design's machine steps to complete all the
decorative embroidery.

Depending on your final project, you can use a rotary cutter Your Gnome appliqué design is now finished!
and ruler to trim down the design and remove any excess
fabric and stabilizer. NOTE: If you're stitching the design
onto a project, like a tote bag or a sweatshirt, you can skip
this trimming step!
