Once topstitched, your bag will look something like this.
Fold your outside fabric and lining in to each other at 1⁄2”.
Now, insert your loops between the fabric layers. Pin in place
and topstitch to secure. NOTE: Our loops kept the tape on
their ends, but you can use alternative notions, like clear
hair elastics or thread, if you don’t love leaving the tape!

Now it is time to thread your ribbon through the loops. The
length of your ties is completely up to you! Depending on the
size of your loops, use a safety pin to guide your jute cord or
ribbon through your loops.
Once your jute cord or ribbon is pulled through all of the
loops, the top of your bag should look similar to this.
Pull your jute cord or ribbon tight and tie in place. Your
Garden Bucket Bag is now finished!
