Now, fold in half at the seam and press again with the iron.

Now it's time to assemble the apron. Place the piece that has
the ties attached flat on your work surface, then place the
second pocket piece face down overtop, aligning the pieces
at their raw edges along the bottom.

Pin the pieces together along their sides, starting at the edge
of the pocket and all along the bottom.
Stitch the pieces together at a 1⁄4" seam allowance, being
sure to backstitch at the beginning and end.

Once attached, go back and reinforce the corners with
additional stitches.
Trim the corners at a 45° angle. To further reduce bulk, use
curved tip scissors to gradually trim down even more of the
excess seam allowance in the corners, taking care not to clip
into any stitches.
