Your apron should now look something like this.

To create a pen pocket, use a pen or marker to measure the
depth needed for the pocket.

Mark the pocket depth with pins.
NOTE: Again, you can use tailor's chalk and a ruler to
ensure straight lines.
Sew along side the pins, starting at the edge of
the topstitch and stitching until you arrive at the
marking stitch for the side of the small pocket.

Your pen pocket will now look something like this!
You can continue creating various-sized pockets
on the other side of the apron to the right of the
embroidered design if you wish, it's up to you!
