Once pinned together, the corners should look something
like this.

Drop your needle into one of the corners and begin sewing
along the shape of the cushion, sewing a 1⁄2" from the edge.
Once you have sewn around all edges, the project should
look something like this. Turn out the sides to place the back
fabric on top. You can also press the seams and folds here
for extra crisp lines, if desired.

Take the remaining panel of fabric and place it overtop, with
right sides facing together.
Carefully align the corners and edges and pin them together.
Take care when aligning the corners. Use extra pins if
necessary.
