SLIPPER SOLE CONSTRUCTION
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
A B
Run the first machine step, which will be the placement stitch
for your shelf grip liner.
C D
Lay your shelf grip liner over top of the placement stitches,
being sure to cover them completely.
NOTE: You can use temporary adhesive to keep the shelf
liner in place.
The next machine step is the tacking stitch, which will hold
the shelf liner in place.
NOTE: Depending on your settings, you may need to raise
the hight of your embroidery foot.
E F
Use a pair of sharp curved tip appliqué scissors to trim away
any excess grip liner close to the tacking stitch line. Once
trimmed, your slipper sole should look something like this.
Next run the placement stitch for the slipper’s padding.
To begin, start by hooping a new piece of Tear-Away
stabilizer and loading your slipper’s sole design.
NOTE: For this example, we are stitching EPSOLE.
