Place the two pieces of border fabric so that their long edge
overlaps the inner long edge of the placement stitch by at
least a quarter of an inch, making sure that the cotton fabric
is the layer on top when placing. NOTE: We have a pin
pulling back the corner just to show the placement order;
no pins are needed for these steps.

Run the next step, which is the folding stitch for the folded
fabric border.
Next, fold both pieces of fabric over the folding stitch.
Trim a piece of burlap roughly 2” taller and 3” wider than
the size of the placement stitch. Trim a piece of fabric in the
same dimensions as the burlap. This fabric is going to go
behind the burlap once it is folded over.
