stitch for your base fabric.

Run the machine step for the stippling, then run the
placement stitch for your first appliqué.
Take at least 2 pieces of organza and layer them together.
Then, place your organza layers overtop of your placement
stitches, being sure to cover all sides completely.

Run the next machine step, which will be the tacking stitch
for your first set of organza appliqués.
With your curved tip embroidery scissors, trim away any
excess organza from around the tacking stitch lines.
Place your choice of base fabric on top of your batting. Be
sure to leave at least a 1⁄2” on all sides.
