LOOP FRINGE F-LF
Loop Fringe is another embroidery technique that uses
special digitizing in order to create it! In these designs,
elements have been given specialty satin stitches, featuring
a skinny, anchoring satin stitch along one edge. Using a
seam ripper, the bobbin thread of the wider-set satins will
get scored down their back bobbin thread, while a quick
brush over the scored areas from the front of the design will
pull up the lovely, loopy fringe. It is important to remember
that loop fringe must be digitized for this effect or your
stitches will simply fall apart! This technique can be spotted
in design elements such as scarves, hats, clothing, flowers
and more.
