CREATING A TRAPUNTO BLOCK
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
To begin, hoop a piece of No-Show mesh stabilizer.
NOTE: Our design loaded in at a 90° rotation to the left.
Instead of rotating back, we simply ran it as it pulled up.
You can rotate any designs in Fundamentals, if needed!
Run your first machine step, which will be the squaring stitch
for your batting.
Place your batting on top of the squaring stitches. Be sure
that all sides are covered.
Once tacked, use a pair of curved tip embroidery scissors to
trim away any excess batting from the tacking stitch.
INSET: Once your block has been trimmed, it should look
like this.
Your next machine step will be the tacking stitch for
your batting.
Now, take 2 additional pieces of batting and place it directly
over the batting that was just tacked down.
